I’ve been really busy at work and fallen behind in my blogs so here is the combined blog for the Sun City BBQ Cookoff and Get Your Pig On which were both in Arizona.

Great weather in Arizona in winter!

At the Sun City BBQ Cookoff in Buckeye, AZ, on November 13, we finished 6th of 49 teams with 3rd Chicken, 13th ribs, 21 Pork, and 17th Brisket.

Always an “event” to get Johnny Trigg to eat raw fish!

Spanish Paella and Seared Ahi Tuna

It was nice to see Johnny Trigg and his wife Trish. Benny and I made a Paella dinner which we shared with Johnny and Trish together and Dave Malone and his family from All Sauced Up.

5th Overall in Get Your Pig On Cookoff

At the Get Your Pig On, in Fort McDowell, AZ on December 4, we finished 5th place of 34 teams with 1st Chicken, 4th Ribs, 14th Pork, and 12th Brisket

Our Stoker control system performed flawlessly again
