Once you submit this  form, you will see a “Class Request Sent” confirmation page. If you do not see the confirmation page, please  contact us. When new class dates becomes available or a spot opens up in a class, you will be notified of the availability via email. Once you email us with your availability and there is still an open spot, we will email you a registration form. It is then up to you to complete the registration form and submit payment.

Note: You will receive an email from the BBQ Class Coordinator ([email protected]). Please add this email to your contacts.

Receipt of registrations and payments are processed in a first come first serve basis.

You do not have a spot in a class until you have received a confirmation email of being in the class.  

The confirmation email is sent to you after we receive your registration form and payment.

Once your spot has been purchased, you will receive a confirmation email and an email reminder sent at the two-week, one-week, and three days intervals before the class date with special instructions and class location. Your check will not be cashed until 2 weeks before your scheduled class date. We request that you confirm your attendance in the 2 week email reminder. If we do not hear from you, we will attempt to email and/or phone you to get a confirmation. Most classes are held in Diamond Bar, CA unless otherwise specified.

In the rare instance where I need to cancel or move a class, I carefully consider my decision before acting.  Situations where I need to cancel or move the class date include, but are not limited to, severe weather, illness, unexpected change in my contest dates and sponsor commitments, or when there are less than 8 students signed up

Due to space constraints in my backyard we will not have space for spectators or additional volunteers.

The student agrees to adhere to all rules and regulations given by Harry Soo, Slap Yo’ Daddy BBQ (SYD BBQ). Student agrees to hold (SYD BBQ) harmless for any injury or damages which may occur during the class. In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the cooking class, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the instructor and agents from liability from any and all claims including the negligence of instructor and agents, resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in the cooking class. The student further agrees to hold any and all information presented as a trade secret and will not publish, relay, or otherwise communicate in any form any of said information in any manner for any cause. The use of any video recording device is strictly prohibited except by SYD BBQ. Cameras for shooting still pictures are permitted. The student agrees that (SYD BBQ) may use any photos or video taken at the class for any lawful promotional reasons it deems necessary. By signing the registration form the student agrees to these terms and conditions set therein.

NOTE: We reserve the right to accept, reject, modify, suspend, or delete user registrations at any time and within our sole and absolute discretion.  Any funds collected from the user will be returned.  When you submit your registration form, you agree to this policy.
