Coaches Pit BBQ and the Masonic Lodge from the City of Covina are partnering up to create Operation BBQ for Vets.
This class is focused on veterans who are battling with PTSD and Anxiety. Our number one goal is to introduce BBQ to veterans and show them the power of smoke and guidance. BBQ could be an outlet to their everyday struggles.
The class will be instructed by seasoned pitmasters that compete in the KCBS BBQ circuit and are Combat Veterans.
Our first class will be held on August 12, 2023, starting at Noon at 1650 E Old Badillo St. in Covina, CA.
Operation BBQ for Vets plan to have classes every quarter with the end goal for our students to go home with a better understanding of therapy and introducing them to new ways they could manage and overcome their invisible wounds.
